I apologize in advance for the hammer toe photo (courtesy of Mayo Clinic), but I thought you might want to know if you had one. Maybe you’ve been calling it “curly tip” or “tip that won’t flatten.” So now you know, that toe that bends over and hits the top of your Shoes is called hammer toe. So be it.

I tried to steer clear of overly orthopedic Shoes in this post, but let me tell you, it was hard! Here are 5 of my finds, each featuring a comfortable toe box, soft upper materials, and lower heels (some with removable insoles, built-in arch support, and other comfort features). Do you have hammer toes? What brands and styles of Shoes work for you? Leave us a comMent at the bottom of this post or on our Facebook page. Thank you!
