Lauren checks out Hotter boots; the Belle riding-inspired knee-high boot. Thanks to for sponsoring this post. All opinions are ours based on experience.

Lauren is a project manager for a utility contractor, so she spends a lot of her time walking outside checking out job sites. When she’s at the office, Lauren is often on her feet giving presentations or pacing the halls busy taking phone calls, as the noise level is high inside the office. The Hotter boots have just what it takes for Lauren to comfortably get through her busy day…and be home with her family (in fact, she’s gone on a hike up the hill for the weekend in the Hotter boots Belle in perfect comfort).

When I asked Lauren what she liked about her new Hotter boots, she said the following:

“The boots are very light and comfortable. I have had some Leather boots that tire me out after a day of wear due to the weight of the boot, but these boots are as light as can be. They are not overly warm, some boots make my feet miserably hot, but these are comfortable to wear with a thicker sock without having to worry about my feet getting overheated while inside the house or office.”

I asked Lauren how she fitted the Hotter Belle around her calves (she’s wearing the standard calf width, but the Belle is also Available in a calf width).

“The calf circumference is a bit loose in my opinion. The boots have a buckle that can be used to tighten, that helps. They also have a hidden elastic next to the zipper if your calves are on the larger side. I consider my calves to be a medium width. The nice thing about them being a bit baggy is that you can easily wear them over jeans and socks if that’s your style.”

Lauren also likes the round toe box: her fingers don’t cramp. She also appreciates the moderate arch support and the thickly cushioned insole. A soft fabric lining provides a cozy feel on cool days. The rubber outsole is studded for good traction on slippery surfaces.
