About the Artist: Thereasa is of Ojibway descent and a member of the Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation, MB. She recalls seeing her mother beading and practicing traditional arts as an adolescent but did not pick up beading till later in life. Thereasa has been beading since 2017 and finds it to be very therapeutic and a way to reconnect with her indigenous ancestry. In her free time, Thereasa enjoys spending time with family and going for walks.
