Rockport Total Motion 80mm Desert Boot Review and Giveaway

I don’t pARTicipate in campaigns just for free Shoes. I have turned it down many times due to the fact that the brand or style is simply not fit for the feet, no matter how fancy. Rockport’s #PoweredByHeels campaign felt threatening at first, but I quickly jumped on board when I learned about all the comfort technologies in their Total Motion footwear. Read on to see how you can win a pair!

But driven by heels? Really? You know me, I’m not a high heel girl, on occasion, yes, but not regularly. I was encouraged to look at their new Total Motion styles for fall/winter 2014 and came across this cute bootie: the Rockport Total Motion Desert Boot in Eiffel Tower Suede, which in French means grey. I choose. My reasoning? It is a more stable wedge, it is a boot that provides stability to the Ankle, and who doesn’t like the desert boot trend this season? you do not? That’s good, because Rockport’s Total Motion Collection includes some classic wonders like the Total Motion Quilted Pump and the Total Motion Hidden Wedge Cap Toe.

Back to the boot. The Suede upper is very soft. I like that there are no seams rubbing against sensitive spots on the feet and toes. The toe box allows the toes to spread without uncomfortable pinching. Rockport’s ADIPRENE® by adidas sport technology provides additional cushioning in the heel and forefoot, making the boot a breeze to walk in. The polyurethane sole absorbs shock and traction is good. I’m looking forward to combining my heeled desert boots with skirts, leggings, jeans, patterned socks and tights.

As for the fit, I ordered a 10 medium and it seems a little roomy, but with socks and tying the laces well, I can get a good fit. I think the Rockport Total Motion desert boot could be a bit wide, maybe the 9.5 would be more comfortable. If you have a slightly wide foot, I think you’ll really like how they fit from heel to toe. If not, try ordering a size smaller and wear socks!

Very good friends. I’m going to show you something I wouldn’t normally do in heels in the next video: hold on to your hats…

#Poweredby… fun!

Now don’t think this is pART of my daily routine, it’s not. Granted, I’m on some powerful meds and feel better than ever after living with RA for 17 years, but the fact that I can jump on a trampoline in heels (yes, the vertical is missing) at 46 is a feat. I never thought possible in my early thirties after Midfoot bone fusion surgery. And it was fun!

Thank you, Rockport, for bringing Women (and Men!) the Total Motion collection of beautiful Shoes and boots with comfortable technologies that cushion and support our feet so we can perform our daily responsibilities and recreational activities smiling and without cringing. .
